Welcome to PawFecter Dog Walking
At PawFecter, we believe dog walking should be about far more than simply exercising your dog.
Our walking service has been created with your dog’s emotional wellbeing, safety, enrichment and individual needs at the heart of everything we do. Whether your dog thrives in a small social group, needs extra support with confidence, or would benefit from structured training walks, we offer professional care tailored to them.
As a business built from PawFecter School for Dogs based in Darlington, we bring behaviour knowledge, force-free handling and genuine understanding to every walk.
About PawFecter Dog Walking
Meet Demi, the heart behind PawFecter Dog Walking
Demi is a strong, independent young woman with a genuine passion for dogs and the great outdoors. Whether she’s hiking countryside trails, exploring woodland walks, or simply enjoying time outside, you’ll usually find her alongside her two much-loved dogs, Cosmo and Paisley. Cosmo is a young Belgian Malinois, and Paisley is a large mixed breed – both very loved members of her family.
Demi first came to PawFecter School for Dogs looking for support with Cosmo, who was a nervous young puppy. From the very beginning, it became obvious that Demi had a natural talent and deep understanding when it came to working with dogs. Her calm, patient approach, combined with her willingness to learn, quickly stood out.
She is warm, kind, reliable, and truly dedicated to giving every dog in her care the very best experience possible. Demi’s knowledge around dogs continues to grow every day, and she regularly trains alongside me at PawFecter School for Dogs, constantly investing in her own personal development and education.
Demi has completed her Dog First Aid qualification through The Dog Trainer School and also holds a current CRB check, giving owners additional peace of mind when trusting their dogs in her care.
I am absolutely delighted to have Demi as the face of PawFecter Dog Walking. Her passion, compassion, and dedication make her the perfect person to care for, exercise, and support your dogs as if they were her own.

Dog Walking FAQs
What days do you do your dog walks?
We operate Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
What areas do you cover?
We primarily operate in the Newton Aycliffe area but we serve clients in the surrounding villages such as Heighington Village, School Village, Aycliffe Village, Middridge and Woodham.
If you live elsewhere, please contact us to see if we can offer a collection service.
Can puppies join your walks?
Yes, we accept puppies as long as they are fully vaccinated and, if opting for a group session, are used to being around other dogs.
Do dogs need to be neutered before they join one of your walks?
We don’t insist on neutering but we do expect dogs to behave whilst they are on one of our walking sessions. If your four-legged friend is prone to mounting other dogs, we’d recommend you opt for a 1-2-1 walking package.
What if my dog reacts to another dog?
If you suspect your dog may react to others in the walking session, please choose a 1-2-1 reactive dog walking session instead of our group walks.
Should your dog react to another on the walk unexpectedly, we will notify you and discuss whether a 1-2-1 reactive dog walking session is better suited for your next booking.
Are these sessions suitable for nervous or reactive dogs?
We offer a 1-2-1 reactive dog walking session specifically for reactive dogs. These ensure your dog is exercised in a safe environment and avoids the risk of coming into contact with other dogs that may trigger a reaction.
How many dogs do you have at once?
Sessions are limited to a maximum of four or six dogs (depending upon which session you attend). Keeping the groups small ensures the handler is able to properly and safely manage the session and provide your dog with the care and fuss they need.
