Paw-Venture Puppies: A perfect Gathering in Hamsterley
This past weekend marked the second session of my Puppy and Cake Social in the charming setting of Hamsterley. And what a delightful affair it was! ☀️🐾 With the sun beaming down upon us and a group of enthusiastic participants, I knew I was in for a treat.
Among the star attendees were three adorable puppies: Anna, Indi, and Ruby. Each pup brought their unique blend of breed, personality, and confidence to the gathering, adding a splash of diversity. Accompanied by their devoted human families, it was heart warming to see everyone come together to share in the joy of puppyhood. 🐶👩👧👦
A special highlight of the day was the presence of Nessa, a cherished member of our PawFecter family who happens to be a wheelchair user. Nessa's infectious smile and warm spirit instantly endeared her to all, and the puppies wasted no time in making her a part of their playful antics. It was a heartwarming sight to witness as the furry friends happily sniffed and trotted alongside her wheels. 🌟♿
But the inclusivity didn't end there. Both Elsie and Nessa actively participated in the training sessions, eager to learn alongside their beloved pups. Ruby's mom joined in the fun, while Crystal, James, and Liz, lent their support to Indi's training endeavours. Ian and Anna were also in high spirits, revelling in the sunny weather and the camaraderie of the group. 🌳👨👩👧👦
As I delved into the training activities, focusing on recall, focus, and a scent game, it was evident that everyone was fully invested in their puppy's progress. I understood the importance of my involvement, ensuring that each member of the family, including the little ones, felt empowered to support their furry companions. 🎓🐕🦺
Following our training session, we embarked on a leisurely stroll along the bustling path, brimming with people and their four-legged friends. Our destination? The picturesque sheep field, to introduce the puppies to the aroma of these cheeky species 🌾🐑
Upon our return to the picnic area, we indulged in some well-deserved refreshments, savouring the delectable treats and engaging in a lively question-and-answer session. As laughter filled the air and friendships blossomed, it was clear that my Puppy and Cake Social had succeeded in fostering a sense of community, camaraderie, and shared passion for our furry companions. 🍰☕
